I feel loved

Well, I must say that I really feel loved. I know I'm going to be missed around the office. Everyone keeps saying that the place is going to fall apart when I leave, but I know it won't. There are very capable people in here and I know it will be fine.

Here is an excerpt from a conversation earlier today:
Setting: Coach Terry, the golf coach, was telling me about some players he wanted to put in a room together.

Coach Terry: Yeah, I want to move some of these guys around. I will let you know about that soon, if that's ok.
Me: Well, just so you know, Friday is my last day.
Coach Terry: What the hell?
Me: (laughing) Yes, well, I'm moving to Japan to teach English.
Coach Terry: Well, I'm sure you'll have fun, but you're going to be missed around here.

This conversation will probably be repeated with other coaches this week. All the coaches have come to rely on me, basically because I put up with their crap. I don't mean that in a bad way, but sometimes it can be difficult to deal with all of them--some more than others. (Not Coach Terry-he's great!)

Sorry I haven't written in here much, but I'll try and write something more substantial later. However, that will probably be after I get to Japan. I'm leaving the 20th...yep-in 8 days.
